The Mater Ray lamps are a superb lighting series, combining FSC®-certified oak wood and steel in a beautifully innovative contrast. Designed by Danish design studio PEDERJESSEN, the Ray collection has a strong aesthetic reference to minimalism and Nordic materials, while using little energy. The wooden globe shade is mounted inside the steel shell with magnets so that the user can position the beam of light in any direction. Ray's outer shell is constructed from steel, with a wooden inner globe housing and textile-covered cord. Ray is available as a table, wall and suspension lamp in black or white.
