The algorithm of the double helix gives rise to a unique form of Nature. Toyo Ito was inspired by this particular shape to design furniture that facilitates connection between people and allows free use of space. The result is a bench with a unique silhouette, similar to the fragments of a plant, with which to compose a full leaf. By combining the pieces in the series in different ways, we modify the rhythms. By changing the position or orientation of the benches, we can alter the context and adapt to the dimensions of any space.
