Hale's design is inspired by the classic school chair. Simple, functional, no frills. These principles are reflected not only in its appearance, but also in the way it is manufactured. The chair's seat and back are made from PET Felt, recycled plastic bottles. This technology has combined many traditional production steps into a single, intelligent 3D pressing technique. Hale is the result of De Vorm's collaboration with Ivan Kasner.
