Earth Tabouret is a circular bar stool designed by Danish architect Eva Harlou. Earth Tabouret is the result of an innovative new waste recovery technique that enables Mater to reuse industrial waste from companies, such as waste plastics and other fiber-based materials. The seats are made from recycled plastic waste and waste coffee husks from the BKI café. The technique was developed in collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, with support from the University of Copenhagen. The waste is blended into a unique compound suitable for press molding - a method designed to reuse company resources more efficiently. Earth Tabouret represents classic Scandinavian design with steel frames that make the bar stool elegant and timeless.
