The Mater Bowl table reconciles ancient Indian craftsmanship with the simplicity of Scandinavian design. The tabletop, made from sustainably sourced mango wood, is turned on a lathe, showcasing the expertise of Kharadi, an Indian woodturning community and supporting its local craftsmanship. The finish used on the tabletop is a lead-free, water-based PU lacquer. The legs are made of milled hollow steel rods and can be detached for easy working and transportation.
