The Ocean bench is part of the Ocean collection, a reinvented outdoor series originally designed in 1955 by Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel. The burnt-red version is made from post-consumer electronic waste. This waste is considered the world's fastest-growing waste stream. It is made up of mixed plastic parts from end-of-life electronic appliances, such as refrigerators, screens, keyboards and so on.
