ARABIA is a scale reproduction of a fragment of the world's largest carpet, commissioned in 1903 by the Sultan of Persia and only completed in 2009. The geometric movement picks up on typical Arabian shapes in an interweaving of stars and floral designs. The carpet's composition is a blend of cotton, acrylic chenille and polyester.
